In a stunning display of diplomatic clarity, North Korea's Kim Jong Un's sister crushed any hope for dialogue with South Korea, bluntly dismissing President Lee Jae Myung's outreach. Since President Lee's June election, he tried to soften tensions by halting those border loudspeaker propagandas "in response to North Korean balloon provocations." But as she put it, North Korea has 'no interest in dialogue with the South'—which, so far, feels less like a peace move and more like getting ghosted by your frenemies mid-text.
