This came hot on the heels of a D.C. ambush-shooting by an Afghan national, which apparently turbocharged Trump’s original June proclamation banning 19 ‘third-world and failed state’ countries. The State Department played ghost, and DHS teased that the banned list was coming soon. Meanwhile, Trump plans to 'permanently pause migration' until the system 'fully recovers,' which is possibly code for ‘keep guessing who’s next.’
