Newsom & Harris: ‘Maybe 2028, Maybe Not’ White House Showdown

California’s political soap opera starring Gov. Gavin Newsom and ex-VP Kamala Harris just dropped a teaser for 2028 that’s got more suspense than a Netflix binge. Newsom admitted on CBS that he'd be 'lying' if he didn’t consider a run post-2026 midterms — basically telling America he’s stalking the presidency like a low-key Tinder date. Meanwhile, Harris, busy touring with a book spilling tea on her 2024 MAGA fight and calling out Newsom for ghosting her calls, told the BBC she’s 'not done' but hasn’t RSVP’d to the race yet. Add in Newsom’s Trump-mocking merch and California redistricting rumbles, and you’ve got politics served with extra popcorn.
