Torture Reports: Humanity's Worst Road Trip Yet
In a grim reminder that some horror stories never get the hint, investigators detailed victims subjected to an appalling array of abuse including 'beatings, electric shocks, gang rape, strangulation and other forms of torture.' If misery had a resume, this would be its cover letter. Sadly, it turns out the phrase 'what doesn't kill you' did not apply here, as these acts clearly aimed to do the opposite. Evidently, some people treat human dignity like an optional extra to be easily tossed aside.
