Robert Redford’s Final Scene: Lights Out on Sundance Empire

Robert Redford, the man who made squinting dramatically an art form since the 1960s, has exited stage left into Hollywood’s eternal after-party. Founder of the Sundance Institute, that hallowed ground where indie dreams get weird and tax shelters get real, Redford transformed $3 indie flicks into Sundance hits, turning Utah’s snowy mountains into a cinematic hipster pilgrimage. He passed away quietly, unlike his career full of blazing gazes, cool celebs, and a vision so sharp it cut through studio clutter quicker than a Wild West shootout. Sundance won't dim easily, but Redford just gave the director’s cut to eternity.
