On a fine Tuesday in San Francisco, Microsoft used its GitHub Universe conference to reveal Agent HQ, a platform thatâs basically an AI theme park for code assistants like OpenAIâs Codex and Anthropicâs Claude Code. With 180 million developers lurking around GitHub, Microsoft decided this century-old code hangout needed AI co-pilots to hope nobody notices theyâre trying to be the clubhouse for all coding bots.
