Kraft personally called Sheeran to announce Macklemore was persona non grata at his Foxborough venue for concerts on September 25th and 26th, citing a supposed history of antisemitic imagery — whatever that means on a Spotify artist. Ed Sheeran claims he acted like Switzerland, pointing out his band Beoga and openers Finneas, Lukas Graham, and Aaron Rowe all dropped out in solidarity, proving unity in confusion. Sheeran insists it wasn’t his choice, just the promoter’s, leaving him stuck in a mess that sounds less like a pop tour and more like bad soccer diplomacy.
