In a study that sounds like your brain’s just begging for a recharge, researchers found 'lithium depletion in the brain may be a trigger of Alzheimer’s' in mice. The wild proposal? Lithium replenishment could be a treatment, suggesting maybe our neurons just need a little more 'sparkle' like a house from the 80s.
