Only in America could NASA save a staggering $500 million 'per year' just by eliminating the so-called Block 1B upgrade. Back in my day, we called this common sense, but now apparently the government needs rocket science to realize it costs a fortune. According to the article, cutting Block 1B would 'save NASA at least $500 million per year,' proving that sometimes, less rocket means more rocket science left in the budget.
