Jimmy Kimmel Cancelled, FCC Chair Urged To Quit Over MAGA Meltdown

On September 18, 2025, ABC yanked Jimmy Kimmel Live 'indefinitely' after Kimmel decried the 'MAGA gang' defending Charlie Kirk's assassin. Brendan Carr, FCC chairman and official buzzkill, declared 'it's long past time' to cancel Kimmel and dangled fines and license revocations like a neo-tyranny piñata. In a congressional soap opera, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, sidekicks Katherine Clark, Pete Aguilar, Ted Lieu, Joe Neguse, and Suzan DelBene teamed up stiffly demanding Carr's resignation for 'bullying ABC' into submission, a gesture that makes FCC chair look more like FCC chair-man-on-his-last-nerves.
