African Immigration Plan Cancels Self Before Debut

An ambitious plan promising to shake up immigration policies was spectacularly canceled thanks to a tidal wave of misinformation accusing it of being a sneaky plot to boost African immigration. The scheme, barely out of the gate, couldnât outrun the viral rumors that did it inâproving that trust in continental collaboration now runs about as deep as a kiddie pool. Social media sleuths apparently got more excited than a kid in a candy store, ensuring this policy had a shorter lifespan than most TikTok trends. Cancelled before it could bloom, the initiative is now a masterclass in misinformation mismanagement.
