JD Vance Mistakes National Guard for Museum Exhibit

On an uncharacteristically cautious Monday in Washington D.C., Vice President JD Vance approached an Ohio National Guardsman and, with the delicate tone of a kid in a candy shop, asked, 'Sorry to bother you, sir—is that thing real?' Clearly mistaking the Guard for a firearms petting zoo, Vance's moment of curiosity illuminated either historic naïveté or performance art. No word yet if Vance tried to Instagram the rifle or asked if it was made of titanium. This interaction will live forever in the annals of 'Maybe don’t touch that, sir' moments during official patrols USA.
