Hold onto your hats (and wallets), folks! Inflation in July marched bravely onward, rising 2.7%, thanks to President Trump's tariffs making their grand entrance into the prices consumers pay. As the article cheerfully notes, 'Inflation remained elevated last month as President Trump's tariffs continued to make their way into the prices that consumers pay.' This is SO exciting! Everything happens for a reason! At least now we’re all getting spontaneous economics lessons right at the checkout line—who needs boring textbooks? What a blessing for community saving tightly together around their skyrocketing grocery bills!
