Scammers Pretend To Be TechCrunch, But Can't Spell 'Crunch'

In a plot twist that sounds like a bad episode of 'Black Mirror: Dumpster Edition,' scammers have taken to impersonating TechCrunch reporters and event leads, trying to scam companies with fake credentials. TechCrunch warns, 'We’ve discovered that scammers are impersonating TechCrunch reporters and event leads and reaching out to companies.' Yes, the digital wild west just got a little wilder ā and if you thought your inbox was safe, think again. These imposters are using TechCrunch's shiny reputation as their disguise, but sadly, not the charm or journalistic ethics that go with it.
