Luxury CEOs Pay $50K to Get Dripped, Not Drunk
Akeshi Akinseye, luxury event planner for CEOs and athletes since 2012, has elevated fancy parties from boring sit-down dinners to weekend-long 'experiences' worth well into six figures. Forget subtle 'quiet luxury'—her clients want drone shows featuring their portraits, caviar not only on plates but in martinis, and espresso martini towers where guests ring bells for booze instead of champagne. After all-night clubbing until 4 a.m., 'recovery days' pack IV drips and spa treatments to repair the human wreckage. Events span private estates to exclusive clubs, with elaborate gifting suites that must be larger than most people's apartments. Apparently, a great party also demands custom fashion mood boards. Because nothing says meaningful celebration like matching your outfit to a drone portrait.
