B-2 Bomber: The $2B Flying Stealth Puzzle Piece

The National Museum of the US Air Force proudly exhibits the only publicly viewable B-2 Spirit stealth bomber—except this one never actually flew. Shipped in pieces and reassembled over three years, it’s 'one of the world's largest jigsaw puzzles,' according to the museum director. This $2 billion flying stealth wonder houses remnants from brutal ground tests, like wing patches showing where it 'failed' at 139% stress but still 'passed at 161%.' Technicians even tagged it with 'Fire & Ice' nose art after 1,000 hours of temperature tests. The plane’s name? 'Spirit of Freedom,' because, why not?
