When the author found out she was pregnant, she skipped the duo drama and took a solo babymoon to Grindelwald, Switzerland, famous for its serene cowbells and jaw-dropping alpine views. She swapped baby kicks for mountain hikes, conquering fears on the Eiger Express cable car and chilling with donkeys while practicing mindfulness — all in a bid to prep for motherhood’s chaos. 'Having no companion to entertain me would force me to turn inward,' she admits, proving even first-time moms-to-be know you’ve got to get some ‘me time’ before diapers hijack your schedule.
