Expats Club: Where Retirees Crash Your Bachelor Party

Joshua Webley, a wandering UK nomad, finally planted roots in Kuala Lumpur and discovered a truth every transplanted soul fears: 'I didn’t know who to ask out for a drink.' Tired of networking events that were 'just 10 property agent business cards and five health insurance pamphlets,' Joshua launched The Expats Club by simply asking, 'Does anybody want to come out for a curry on Friday?' Twenty-nine folks showed up, and now the club has morphed into a social machine where retirees clean the house and keep bachelor parties tame. Because nothing says wild like a crowd mostly over 70.
