In a legal thriller darkest than a DMV line, ICE’s Agent “Victor” achieved viral infamy on a Thursday in NYC by tossing Monica Moreta-Galarza to the floor of a Lower Manhattan courthouse—front-row seats courtesy to her screaming kids. Till Eckert, a freshly minted U.S. reporter from Germany who showed up equipped with a camera and zero patience for ICE's less subtle deportation tactics, caught this tender moment. Amidst 'Adios' chants from Victor, Monica expressed fear for her detained husband, only to be body-slammed instead. DHS assistant secretary Tricia McLaughlin called it 'unacceptable' — shocker! — and promptly benched Victor, whose whereabouts became mystery number two after deportations. Despite repeated asks, DHS couldn't say how many other agents got the timeout chair this year. Meanwhile, Monica, a Coney Island local from Ecuador, was left nursing her bump and existential dread about America’s déjà vu from her home country’s beatings. Raise your hand if you want a re-run, but not in VR.
