Hurricane Erin: Nature’s Angriest Jersey Shore Party Crasher

Hurricane Erin decided to throw the worst block party the East Coast never wanted, battering North Carolina's Outer Banks before unleashing 'life-threatening' surf and rip tides as warned by the National Hurricane Center. New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy declared a state of emergency as the Jersey Shore braced for 'major flooding' Thursday night. As the National Weather Service noted, the storm is basically the Atlantic’s rude guest overstaying its welcome for days.
