Carbon Storage: The Climate's Broken Magic Trick 2.0

Carbon storage, once hailed as the MVP of climate fixes, has been officially downgraded from 'infinite miracle' to 'limited disappointment.' Experts now say it 'can no longer be considered an unlimited solution'âbecause apparently, 'infinite' was just the nickname. No flashy CEOs or dollar amounts here, just a polite global shrug acknowledging that pumping CO2 underground isn't the eco-proof password we hoped for. Basically, Mother Earth just gave carbon capture the cold shoulder mid-2024. In other words, our climate planâs old safety blanket looks more threadbare than a budget airlineâs complimentary snack.
