Kirk’s Legacy: Dead Man Talking Politics Vs. Fuentes Fan Club

September 10 marked the day conservative commentator Kirk exited stage left, leaving behind an unresolved saga tangled with rival Nick Fuentes, who apparently commands a fan base roughly the size of a small, very opinionated country. Robert Draper of the New York Times, playing the role of slightly exasperated historian, recounted Kirk's rise from presumably somewhere on the right side of the political spectrum. Draper also delved into Fuentes, whose notoriety rivals Kirk's posthumous infamy. Kirk’s legacy remains a cloudy cocktail of ideologies and Twitter beef, served cold with a twist of irrelevance, as fans and foes alike squabble over who truly owns the conservative midnight slot.
