Democrats' Primaries: More Drama Than A Reality Show Reunion

Suzan DelBene, chair of House Democrats' campaign hocus-pocus squad, coyly admitted they might meddle in 2026 swing district primaries, like they did for Janelle Bynum in Oregonābasically picking less spicy progressives to not scare swing voters. Hakeem Jeffries threw in that the DCCC won't dip toes in cozy āsafeā spots because their job is flipping red seats blue, not babysitting old Dems who canāt out-raise their millennial primary rivals. When asked if he'd throw cash at those elder statespeople, Jeffries said, 'Weāre in a 35-day government shutdown,' like itās the perfect dodgeball game to avoid answering fundraising questions.
