Hinge CEO Justin McLeod insists AI is the trusty wingman, not a stand-in boyfriend, telling us on the 'Rapid Response' podcast, 'I don't think that an AI chatbot should be your friend or certainly not your boyfriend or girlfriend.' Owned by Match Group, which also runs Tinder and OKCupid, Hinge uses AI to 'stand behind us and not between us,' helping 1.7 million paying users polish profiles and find matches—without the existential dread of dating a chatbot, thank goodness.
