Bobby Hill’s Chef Life: From Suburbia to Sushi Sausage Showdown

After 15 years on hiatus, Pamela Adlon is back voicing Bobby Hill, who shockingly did NOT become a prop comic but a chef instead. According to Adlon, she 'freaked out' on hearing about Bobby’s career pivot to a blue-collar, German-Japanese cuisine mashup in Dallas. With Bobby showing 'some of these attributes of his dad — being responsible,' he’s now an 'outside-the-box thinker' working in a restaurant, where even herring tempura and miso-wurst await brave eaters. Adlon loves that cooking, something she’s done personally for kids and on her show, now shapes Bobby’s grown-up world.
