Oil Countries Say Plastics Are Fine, Humans Can Wait
Despite mountains of evidence that plastics are a big no-no for human health, oil-producing countries have decided it’s easier to stick their heads in the refinery than protect people. They 'oppose action on human health,' proving once again that when there’s money to be made, human well-being takes a long coffee break. Apparently, admitting 'plastics are harmful' means sacrifice — and that’s as welcome as a flat tire on a hot summer day.
