Google DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis dropped the mic on AI's wildly inconsistent IQ, calling it 'uneven intelligences' or 'jagged intelligences.' These brainy bots can snag gold at the International Math Olympiad but still 'make simple mistakes in high school maths.' Hassabis said AI’s problem isn’t lack of data but missing 'capabilities in reasoning and planning in memory.' Meanwhile, Google’s Sundar Pichai laughs in 'Artificial Jagged Intelligence' mode. Hassabis added, 'It shouldn't be that easy for the average person to just find a trivial flaw in the system.' Guess AI skipped critical thinking class.
