Apparently, missing the $7,500 EV tax credit’s cozy warmth, expiring end of this month, makes demand plummet faster than a dropped charging cable. October and November get a production snooze week, and 2026 features a one-shift siesta, postponing a surprise Kansas City Bolt shift start endlessly. August was ironically GM’s best EV sales month ever, but SVP Duncan Aldred cautions against overproducing now—it’s the industrial version of 'I’m not saying the sky is falling, but…' Andrew J.
