On a rollercoaster Thursday at Flushing Meadows, Polish CEO Piotr Szczerek of paving giant Drogbruk inadvertently starred in viral mischief by snatching tennis star Kamil Majchrzak's cap from a young fan mid-autograph. With 19 million X views, this hat-napping disaster swiftly snowballed, forcing Szczerek to post a humble apology on his company's Instagram Monday. He "convinced" himself the hat was headed his way, calling it a 'huge mistake' while trying to heal the hearts of disappointed kids and internet detectives. Comments were disabled to protect poor Szczerek’s family from keyboard gladiators' roasts. Popcorn ready: executives beware, cameras no longer respect executive privacy.
