Meanwhile, Apple's playing hard to get, with analysts like Dipanjan Chatterjee and J.P. Morgan predicting a 2026 foldable debut priced at $1,999. 'Apple will wait and see and won’t be afraid to be a follower,' says Chatterjee — proving Apple still knows how to make you pay more for doing exactly what everyone else already did.
