Masked Men Mistake Crowne Plaza for The Hunger Games Arena
On a bright Saturday noon in West London, two anti-asylum groups marched like they were headed for a royal tea party, except their destination was Crowne Plaza on Stockley Road—a hotel apparently so exclusive it houses asylum seekers. Undeterred by decorum, a squad of masked men attempted to gatecrash the hotel via the rear entrance, apparently thinking security fences were just decorative arts projects. The Metropolitan Police, probably sighing into their teacups, arrested five of these aspiring gatecrashers. No word if the masks were from the 'crime fashion' line or just leftover Halloween props, but London's hospitality scene certainly got an unexpected reality show plot twist.
