FEMA’s Digital Divide: Send Email or Say Goodbye to Aid

In a plot twist worthy of a tech horror story, FEMA workers are sounding the alarm: requiring disaster survivors to apply for aid via email might actually exclude those without internet access. Apparently, the folks at FEMA worry this ‘digital doorway’ could leave the already submerged stranded in paperwork purgatory. One concerned worker noted that '#NoWiFiNoHelp' is an 'unfortunate reality' when disaster meets digital demand. So, while government support is technically just a click away, many might find themselves stuck in an endless buffering wheel of bureaucracy.
