Europe Insists: Talking Russia Without Ukraine? That’s a No-No

In a move that’s basically the diplomatic equivalent of 'You can’t sit with us,' some European leaders have pointedly stated that Ukraine must be included in any talks with Russia to end the war. The officials emphasized that 'Ukraine must be included in any talks,' making it clear that skipping the actual warfront presence is so 2014. Because apparently, inviting Russia to negotiate peace while leaving Ukraine out is like throwing a party and asking the dog not to bark.
