ESPN is launching a standalone streaming service August 21st for $29.99 a month, offering '47,000 live sporting events every year' including NFL Network content and the NFL Draft. Disney’s snack-sized sports buffet also adds a WWE exclusive smorgasbord with WrestleMania & SummerSlam, because nothing says sports like grown adults fighting in costumes. ESPN claims it’s ‘All of ESPN. All in one place,’ which might make canceling cable more confusing than ever with ESPN Plus still at $11.99, plus bundles with Disney Plus and Hulu. Oh, and if you have pay TV, lucky you: free access.
