In an eager dash to please viewers who apparently now watch shows exclusively by holding phones upright, Disney Plus announced at CES 2025 it will launch a vertical video feed. Erin Teague, Disney’s EVP of product management for Disney Entertainment and ESPN, declared on January 8 at their Global Tech & Data Showcase, that this new feed will blend 'original short-form programming, repurposed social clips, and refashioned scenes' from classic episodic and feature-length fare. This means your beloved Disney classics will soon star in snack-sized vertical formats, uniting all the bite-sized Disney content you never knew you wanted – on one unified, vertically scrolling app that screams 'yes, we too have TikTok envy!'
