Costco’s Early Hours: More Money, Less Staff, Same Magic

So Costco decided to roll out early shopping hours for executive members without hiring more help, prompting one manager to declare, 'It's going to be an absolute nightmare.' Yet, shockingly, the aisles are quiet, loaves line up neat, and sales seem to be booming. Executive members pay double but get the privilege of being early birds in a business almost too good at milking their cash cow: 'Executive members account for more than 73% of the company’s total sales.' Costco’s playing us like a symphony of wallet strings, and apparently, it’s sticking the landing.
