Trump’s FBI Feud: Comey, Gorsuch & Kavanaugh Walk Into Court

Two decades ago, Justice Scalia duck-hunted with Cheney, then said justices can't recuse for befriending prez pals—because apparently Washington appointments come with a 'Friends of the President' club card. Fast forward to Trump prosecuting ex-FBI Director Comey, whose indictment was so flimsy Trump fired a US attorney and plugged in a yes-man just to get it done. Comey, a Republican once appointed by Bush and Obama (yes, Obama wanted Republicans to avoid a confirmation brawl), worked alongside Gorsuch and investigated stuff parallel to Kavanaugh on the Whitewater scandal. Irony alert: Comey's 2016 FBI email flub probably handed Trump the presidency by tanking Clinton’s key swing states, all while violating long-standing DOJ rules and due process. Moral of the story? Trump's not just going after Dems, but GOP insiders so deep in the swamp it’s basically branded merchandise at this point. Honest to god, if the justices don’t start calling foul, the next subpoena might be coming for them.
