World Photography Day lands on Aug. 19, celebrating the stories behind photos, not just eye-roll-inducing duck faces. NPR says they 'want to hear the story behind your favorite picture you’ve taken.' So, apparently this day is less about clicking buttons and more about storytelling — the plot twist your camera roll desperately needs. It's not just about pixels; NPR wants substance, folks. So, let me get this straight: Harrumph and click isn’t enough? Who knew?
