Gavin Newsom, apparently not content with just fixin' potholes, threatened a redistricting 'trigger' measure if Texas GOP redraws their maps, declaring 'California will not sit by idly and watch this Democracy waste away.' Meanwhile, Texas Democrats fled the state like it’s a political game of hide-and-seek to block GOP plans, with Rep. Ann Johnson calling out the GOP's flood-relief excuse as mere 'distraction.'
