SB 53 just dropped the mic on AI giants like OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, and Google DeepMind by making transparency about their safety protocols mandatory. Apparently, lawmakers asked, 'Show us your boring but needed safety rules or no candy.' It also throws whistleblower protections at employees, basically saying 'Feel free to rat out rogue bots without fearing a RoboKaren backlash.'
