Apple is launching 'Pluribus,' a 'genre-bending' sci-fi drama from Vince Gilligan premiering November 7 on Apple TV+. The teaser shows a hospital worker 'mindlessly licking donuts,' while the plot follows 'the most miserable person on Earth' trying to 'save the world from happiness.' Appleās sci-fi binge includes 'Neuromancer,' 'Foundation,' and 'Severance,' but seriously, did I miss the part where donut-licking somehow combats joy? 'A blended, grounded genre drama' or a soap opera for caffeine addicts? Either way, nine episodes promise to confuse and amuse until December 26.
