Australia’s Vaccine Drama: Booking Battles and Bulk-Billing Blues

Australia’s childhood vaccination rates are dropping faster than your Wi-Fi during Zoom calls, thanks to parents juggling so much they’d need Spider-Man’s schedule, plus the cost making wallets cry. Opposition promises to 'help protect Australia’s pharmaceutical sector' which sounds like 'We’re on it' but do they mean vaccines or Vegemite? Meanwhile, the relationship with the US is getting all diplomatic-y, with talks happening 'at many, many levels' and Australia boasting 'the lowest tariff rate' as if selling koalas was on the agenda. Oh, and mark your calendars for October 20th – a date so important it gets awkwardly dropped mid-sentence. If this keeps up, Measles might crash the AFL Grand Final party faster than a boomerang back from the Outback.
