Australia Expels Iran’s Ambassador, Accuses IRGC of Arson Spree
In a plot line stranger than a late-night conspiracy theory, Australia's PM Anthony Albanese tossed Iran's ambassador Ahmad Sadeghi out of Canberra for allegedly masterminding at least TWO antisemitic arson attacks: one at Lewis' Continental Kitchen in Sydney and another at Melbourne's Adass Israel Synagogue. Australia's own top spy, Mike Burgess, pulled back the curtain on Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) orchestrating these fiery mishaps via 'a complex web of proxies' — basically espionage on discount cable. Canberra also shuttered its embassy in Tehran, making this the embassy eviction Olympics. Foreign Minister Penny Wong called it a first-of-its-kind expulsion in Aussie history, and the IRGC is now on the fast track to terrorist org status. No word yet from Iran, presumably busy figuring out how to explain this one.
