AT&T Pays 200K+ While Still Using Networks From The Flintstones

AT&T, the telecom giant that practically invented the telephone, is now shelling out up to $207,000 for software engineers as it tries to drag its network kicking and screaming into the 21st century. Jeremy Legg, AT&T's tech chief, called it a 'once-in-a-lifetime opportunity' to replace their century-old copper wires with fiber running from New York to L.A. Meanwhile, they're hiring 345 H-1B visa tech workers mostly in Texas and Georgia, proving that even legacy titans have to wrestle cloud servers and AI just to stay competitive.
