Apple Watches Oppo Spy Game: USB Heist Edition
Photo by engin akyurt on Unsplash
In an epic corporate cloak-and-dagger, Apple is suing Dr. Chen Shi, a former Apple Watch team sensor system architect, for allegedly stealing 'trade secrets relating to Apple Watch' and sharing them with Oppo. Shi reportedly attended 'dozens' of meetings to absorb intel and even downloaded 63 documents from a protected folder onto a USB drive. Messages on his Apple-issued iPhone revealed he aimed to 'collect as much information as possible' for Oppo, which apparently encouraged the operation. Meanwhile, Oppoâs mailbox was too full to answer inquiriesâbecause when youâre caught red-handed, just ghost the press!
