Hold onto your hats, Australians! Amazon’s Project Kuiper is blasting off to serve over 300,000 rural Aussies with internet by mid-2026. Joe Lathan, Project Kuiper’s big boss down under, says, 'Australia’s vast geography presents unique connectivity challenges that traditional infrastructure often can’t overcome.' What a blessing! While SpaceX has 8,000 satellites buzzing, Amazon is just getting started with 78 and aiming for a towering 3,236. Everything happens for a reason – at least now rural Australia can dream of buffering-free streaming! Isn’t community building via satellite just AMAZING?!
