In the digital version of "Oops, we did it again," Have I Been Pwned dropped a bombshell revealing 1.1 million customers were hit by a data breach back in July — a detail they somehow kept cloaked until now. The breach notification site alerted affected users, proving once again that in the internet’s wild west, your data’s as safe as a Snapchat streak after 24 hours. So if you thought your passwords were private, well, Have I Been Pwned just RSVP’d to the party uninvited.
