Photo by Roberto Nickson on Unsplash
President Trump just signed an executive order axing the $800 de minimis exemption for ALL countries, meaning even your grandmaās cute little gift could now get hit with an $80 to $200 tariff. Or, as they put it, packages "subject to less scrutiny than traditional imports" pose risks. So starting August 29, expect Customs to treat your online shopping like an episode of Cops meets Wall Street.
