Alina Habba Declares U.S. Attorney Role like It’s Game of Thrones

Alina Habba just pulled a Houdini on federal judges by proclaiming herself the acting U.S. attorney for New Jersey despite being replaced days ago. 'Donald J. Trump is the 47th President. Pam Bondi is the Attorney General. And I am now the Acting United States Attorney,' Habba boldly posted on X, refusing to 'cower to pressure.' Judges tried to swap her out for Desiree Leigh Grace, but the DOJ source says Habba's still got days on the clock—and Justice apparently means issuing tweets that feel like Supreme Court smackdowns.
