Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy managed to deliver a masterclass in bureaucratic 'agree to disagree' by saying he doesn’t support federal subsidies for high-speed EV chargers, but hey, 'his department will respect Congress' will' and drop the cash anyway. So let me get this straight: it's like a chef who hates broccoli but still serves it because the diners demanded it. Oh, I'm sorry, did I miss the part where personal opinions actually steer policy? Because apparently in the land of indecision, logic takes a backseat to paperwork.
